What product is Ronin 4D Flex applicable to? What functions does it provide?
DJI Ronin 4D Flex is currently only applicable to Ronin 4D. It separates the main body and the gimbal camera, allowing the recording unit, power supply, and video transmission systems to be stored in the bag while the operator holds only the gimbal camera module. This effectively reduces the handheld weight for users. With accessories like extension rods and suction cups, it helps users to explore more unique angles and unlock creative possibilities.
Do I need to activate Ronin 4D Flex before use?
No.
How do I update the firmware of Ronin 4D Flex?
DJI Ronin 4D Flex does not have independent firmware. When using with Ronin 4D, you need to update Ronin 4D and the gimbal camera to the latest firmware.

Does Ronin 4D Flex support dual focus motors?
Yes. Ronin 4D Flex supports up to three focus motors.
To use the DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) for controlling zoom, focus, or aperture, mount the DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) to the extended gimbal connector module, update the focus motor to the latest firmware, and connect it to the USB-C port on the bottom of the gimbal.
Focus motors can be used in series.
