New Zealand’s DJI Care Enterprise Plus Plan covers accidents, such as water damage or collisions, lasts for 1 year with an option to extend up to two times, provides unlimited repairs, and 1 Flyaway replacement unit for an additional charge.
In order to extend your Care Enterprise Plus Plan, you must purchase a new Care Enterprise Plus Plan before your existing 12-month period has expired – this will extend your coverage for an additional 12 months. Please note: This can only be done two times in total, for a maximum of three years’ Care Enterprise Plus coverage.

Please Note:
DJI Care Enterprise can be bound to your DJI product when it meets one of the following criteria:
- Brand new and un-activated product.
- Device activated within the last 72 hours.
- Handheld device activated within the last 30 days.
*If your craft has been activated for over 72 hours, follow the instructional guide linked below to verify your craft is in good working order and still eligible for DJI Care Enterprise.
Each time you request a repair or replacement, you’ll receive a unit that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.

UNLIMITED REPAIRS, TOTAL PEACE OF MIND
For an additional charge, DJI Care Enterprise Plus provides unlimited repairs or replacements within one year, covering accidental damage such as water damage, crashes, and collisions, up to the specified coverage amount. Priority is given to repairs, but if necessary, replacements will be provided with units that are new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.
DJI FLYAWAY COVERAGE (DRONE NOT RECOVERED)
DJI Care Enterprise Plus provides Flyaway Replacement if your drone is not recovered due to an accident. To be eligible, you must bind your aircraft and remote controller to your DJI account via the app before any flyaway incident occurs. If the aircraft is not properly bound, or if the binding is cancelled, you will not qualify for Flyaway Replacement.
In the event of a flyaway, you must submit a Flyaway Aircraft Report and provide accident flight records. If these are not submitted, Flyaway Replacement cannot be used.
To lodge a flyaway claim, submit a Flyaway Aircraft Report through the compatible DJI app and then contact info@ferntech.co.nz.
The DJI Care Enterprise Repair Process
Ferntech will handle the entire DJI Care Enterprise Plus process, which is as follows:
- Request a Care Enterprise repair/replacement via our online Service Request Form
- Delivery of damaged item* – please contact our helpful team at info@ferntech.co.nz and they will provide details on how to get your product to us.
- Product assessment by Ferntech team – upon completion, we will select the cheapest option to either have your product repaired or replaced under your DJI Care Enterprise policy. Please advise if you would like to have your product replaced even if a repair is cheaper.
*We require your product to complete the DJI Care Enterprise Plus process.
Please Note:
- DJI Care Enterprise Plus and the corresponding product must be purchased from New Zealand.
- DJI Care Enterprise Plus only supports aircraft purchased from official or authorised channels.
- As Care Enterprise Plus is not officially supported in New Zealand, Ferntech still makes the service possible by working closely with DJI HQ. The $149 replacement fee covers two way shipping, handling fees, tariffs and customs clearance fees.
- Each time a DJI Care Enterprise Plus request is lodged, the repair cost will be deducted from your coverage amount. In the event of a repair, DJI will initially deduct from the coverage amount specific to the DJI Enterprise product as seen in the above table. If the coverage amount is insufficient, you will be required to pay the difference to receive the repair service.
